The cost for most clients is their insurance copay. Out-of-network billing available — superbill provided on request. Sliding scale is not promoted as a general affordability feature; if cost is a barrier, reach out and we’ll talk.
Medicaid is not accepted at this time. If you have Medicaid, I can refer you to a colleague who accepts Medicaid insurance.

What does insurance cover?
Insurance accepted for Aetna, Cigna/Evernorth, Optum/UnitedHealthcare/Oxford, Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey, Oscar, Medicare, and most employee assistance programs. Most clients pay a copay through their insurance plan. Out-of-network billing is available — superbill on request. For details, see insurance and cost.
Do you offer face-to-face sessions?
Online only. New Jersey statewide telehealth by secure video. There’s no physical site — everything happens by video. You can see me from anywhere in New Jersey.
How long are sessions?
38 to 53 minutes. Standard for both individual and couples work. By secure video, weekly.
How long does therapy take?
3 to 12 months is typical, but it varies by client. Some clients meet their goals in a few months of focused short-term work; some take longer. We check in regularly to be sure we’re on the right track.
Do you do sliding scale?
Sliding scale is not promoted as a general affordability feature of this practice. If cost is a barrier, reach out — we can talk through what’s possible on the free 15-minute call. Out-of-network superbills are available for clients with OON benefits.
Do you offer EMDR or DBT?
No. I’m not trained in EMDR or DBT. If a clinician has recommended either, or if you’ve read that one would help, I can refer you to a colleague who specializes in that work. I offer trauma-informed care (CCTP credential), CBT, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and EFT tapping/body work.
What does a typical first session look like?
A full 38 to 53 minute intake session — we set the pace together. I show up curious, not clinical. You tell me what’s bringing you in; I ask questions; we figure out where to start. The goal is leaving with something practical to use, not just a feeling of “we talked.”
